12 years after “Clouds Are Beautiful”, Hide&Seek returns with a new album: following on from the previous ones, “A Spring Idyl” combines coldwave and pop, this time with more electronic sounds. The voices, female and male, share texts that explore the beauty and melancholy of human relationships. The duo is supported by a flautist who subtly colors the cold sounds of the guitars and synthesizers. Through its title and two songs, the album also pays tribute to Elizabeth Magie, born in 1866, unique in her progressive spirit, her inventiveness and her sensitivity.
