An aura of mystery surrounds Corps Diplomatique. Those who were able to listen to the titles published in the legendary compilation La Muse Vénale from 1985, or the vinyl Paradis from 1988, or even certain tracks exchanged secretly on the internet, know that this French group really has something special.
We are very excited to announce the release of a double CD retracing the period 1984 to 1988. 31 tracks have been unearthed from the group’s archives and carefully restored from the original analog recordings. More than 25 unreleased titles including 3 live recordings.
Founded in Marseille by Olivier Aubin, Marie-Eve Bensussan, Patrick Loubet and Nicolas Pélissier, Corps Diplomatique left its mark on the scene in the mid-1980s. A unique style between Cold Wave, Synth Pop and Electro.
